LYRICS
A few of Bhoomi's song... from a Bhoomibondhu's diary
An
offering of song- selected lyrics from Bhoomi:
Serious listeners
feel that four factors combine to ensure Bhoomi's cross-sectional
appeal: competent singing, use of a wide range of instruments,
lush musical compositions and above all lyrics that touch the
heart and mind. The lyrics are often but not always on
rural themes, and perhaps some of the songs can stand on their
own as poetry. To savour Bhoomi in totality, you will need their
albums, a good system and solitude. Until such time, the lyrics
below are a little of Bhoomi that you can take home with you. |
